BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Gregory Roseman an IRS technology official at the center of an investigation into whether he pushed for contract awards worth up to $500 million to a company owned by a friend, pleaded the Fifth Amendment and refused to testify at a House hearing. Since this is the second IRS official to refuse to answer questions, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder states that Congress should just drop the subject, because trying to get someone to talk when they don’t want to, is both disrespectful and impolite. Holder concluded by saying that it’s counterproductive and unpatriotic for Congress to focus on issues that have the potential of suggesting to the public that the IRS cannot be trusted.
