BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Yahoo News anchor Katie Couric expressed her concern over people falling for fake news and called upon her fellow journalists to do a better job at helping people understand “complicated issues.” Couric herself has been accused of reporting fake news and was hit with a $12 million lawsuit over her documentary “Under the Gun”, in which she admitted that she used deceptive editing. She explained that fake news involving guns is ok, because her goal was to save lives. “My feelings are, if I have a noble intention, lying through my teeth is perfectly acceptable under liberal journalistic standards.”
