BREAKING NEWS – Baltimore, Maryland – Citing several recent incidents, the NAACP issued an advisory warning African-Americans about traveling via American Airlines. “The NAACP for several months now has been monitoring a pattern of disturbing incidents reported by African-American passengers, specific to American Airlines,” the civil rights organization said in a statement. “In light of these confrontations, we have today taken the action of issuing national advisory alerting travelers — especially African-Americans — to exercise caution, in that booking and boarding flights on American Airlines could subject them disrespectful, discriminatory or unsafe conditions.” Derrick Johnson President of the NAACP, said their pilots routinely seek out turbulence so the black passengers can have a rough ride and possibly get air sickness. He also said flight attendants refuse to serve food that appeals to African Americans, because racist flight attendants regularly ignore the request to set up an outdoor barbecue grill at cruising altitude.
