BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Former President Bill Clinton agreed with New York Gov. Kathy Hochul by arguing that New York City’s “Right to Shelter Law” must be changed.
“It’s broken. We need to fix it,” Clinton said, adding that the law “doesn’t make any sense.”
“They come here, and we’re supposed to shelter people who can’t get work permits for six months. We need to change that,” he said, noting that migrants have a right to begin “paying their way” in American society.
However, his wife, Hillary Clinton, publicly disagreed with her husband. “I’m not sure why he is taking this position on immigration,” she said at a brief press conference. “The only reason I can think of, is he’s probably being influenced by some young republican women that he’s currently sleeping with.”
