BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), in response to the Rush Limbaugh-Sandra Fluke controversy, told the host of Meet the Press David Gregory, “I don’t know any woman in America, David, that thinks that being called a slut is funny.”
According to one of the film crew during the commercial break, Gregory brought up the subject of her several appearances on the Bill Maher Show on HBO. He then said that considering the fact that she never condemned Maher for describing Sarah Palin in even more vulgar words, wouldn’t it reflect her having double standards? Gregory immediately stopped his inquisition after an irritated Wasserman presented from her purse, the signed agreement between the DNC and NBC not to ever put her on the spot with that type of questioning.
