BREAKING NEWS – Rome, Italy – An unnamed source from the Vatican states that the decision made by Pope Benedict XVI to resign at the end of this month, has nothing to do with his age. According to the insider, the Pope is resigning after being told that due to the hundreds of millions of dollars the Catholic Church is continuing to disburse to settle sexual abuse lawsuits, his annual salary has to be reduced. He was also pretty angry when he was informed that his medical plan now has a co-pay.
