BREAKING NEWS – Los Angeles, California – Julie Chen disclosed in an emotional episode of “The Talk”, that she underwent eye surgery 18 years ago after she was told that she wouldn’t sit at an anchor desk because of her “Asian eyes.” She then stated that when she was a local reporter in Dayton, Ohio, the news director told her that she would never be an anchor because she is Chinese. Chen concluded by explaining that because of the growing debt currently owed to China by the United States, to be an anchor 25 years from now, she might have to change her eyes back.
