BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – In the wake of the federal government shutdown, the FDA is now concerned about the dramatic increase of illegal lemonade stands. The FDA Commissioner Margaret A. Hamburg stated that she is worried about the children not declaring all of their profits on their tax returns. She said she is also concerned about any children that happen to run their lemonade stand efficiently, because they may erroneously assume that as adults they can make it on their own with hard work, instead of perpetual government handouts.
