BREAKING NEWS – Cheyenne, Wyoming – Sen. Bruce Burns who is also a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, is pushing to a law that will allow the use of a firing squad to execute condemned state inmates in Wyoming if constitutional problems or other issues ever prevented the state from using lethal injection. Burns qualified his idea by stating that only people who are very experienced with guns will be allowed to be in the firing squad. Jesse Jackson stated that using those qualifications, it would be inappropriate for Chicago to embrace Burns’ idea, because it would be a real possibility that Illinois will unknowingly sanction gang members executing other gang members.
