According to the Highway Loss Data Institute, the five most stolen cars in America are, the Cadillac Escalade, the Ford F250 Crew Cab 4×4, the Chevrolet Silverado, the Dodge Charger, and the Chevrolet Avalanche. The Jaguar, having the worst maintenance record of all vehicles, was the car most often stolen and later returned to the owner by the thief, (usually with a Hallmark sympathy card).
