BREAKING NEWS – San Diego, California – The airport authority says it is enforcing a policy of the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, which regulates taxis throughout the region, that prohibits foul-smelling drivers and promotes regular bathing. “Taxi drivers are often the first impression that travelers receive when arriving into San Diego and we want to encourage a positive experience,” said airport authority spokeswoman Rebecca Bloomfield. She said she is seriously considering embracing the well received NYC law, which mandates that each cab must have at least four different scented cans of Glade in the back seats four tourists to chose from, that are not used to cab driver fumes.
