BREAKING NEWS – Geneva, Switzerland – New guidelines proposed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) that represents most of the world’s airlines would limit the size of carry-on luggage. The “optimal cabin bag size” recommendation calls for most airlines to trim the size of the bags they currently allow. Within five years, the goal is to have passengers never travelling with nonessential items, which will include overnight bags, laptop computers, and spouses that they can’t stand.
