BREAKING NEWS – Moorehead, Kentucky – Defying the Supreme Court, county clerk Kim Davis says she was acting under “God’s authority” while continuing to deny marriage licenses to gay couples, whose lawyers asked a federal judge to hold her in contempt of court. “To issue a marriage license which conflicts with God’s definition of marriage, with my name affixed to the certificate, would violate my conscience”, she explained. The ACLU blames the Apostle Paul from the bible for the current problem, citing that he should have been man enough to stand up to God, and challenge Him on his position regarding homosexuality. And if push came to shove, they said Paul should’ve attempted to have God’s divine commands overturned by a higher court.
