BREAKING NEWS – El Cerrito, California – An 85-year-old man shot one of two intruders in the head as they tried to break into his home, according to El Cerrito Police. “They entered the gate, came through the back and were in the process of kicking down the back door,” Lt. Steve Bonini said of the suspects. Fearing for his safety, the 85-year-old armed himself with a gun and opened fire when he came face to face with the suspected burglars, shooting one of them in the head. The ACLU that wants strict gun control believes the old man should be charged with attempted murder. They maintain that “he had no right to act as judge, jury, and executioner by treating a potentially harmless burglar, as a death row inmate.”
