BREAKING NEWS – Elkins Park, Pennsylvania – Bill Cosby has been charged with felony assault over an encounter with a woman 12 years ago. “We are here to announce today charges that have just been filed against William Henry Cosby. These charges stem from a sexual assault that took place on an evening in early 2004 at Mr. Cosby’s home…” Montgomery County First Assistant District Attorney Kevin Steele said in a press conference. “Mr. Cosby is charged with aggravated indecent assault.” The famous comedian read from a prepared written statement to a large crowd after leaving the courtroom. “I am deeply hurt by the lack of support from the African-American community. I thought they would support me no matter what I did. It has been 52 women that has leveled accusations, and out of those 52, only a handful of them were black. This shows I had enough integrity and decency to a certain degree, to protect ‘our’ women, from me! And somehow I don’t think I’ll ever get credit for that.”
