BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Left wing pundit Leah McElrath took issue with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio sharing Bible verses on Twitter. Rubio, who often speaks about the role his faith plays in his life, shared a pair of verses Tuesday morning, one from Proverbs and one from the Gospel of John.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do & your plans will succeed. The Lord works out everything for his own ends…” Proverbs 16:3
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.Not as the world gives do I give to you.Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27
McElrath immediately responded to Rubio’s scriptures by tweeting, “Marco Rubio is tweeting out Bible verses this morning, and it’s…unsettling. We liberals and democrats have zero faith in the God he worships, especially after the Almighty let us down in last November’s election, blatantly disobeying our orders.”
