BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Another sexual harassment bombshell is rocking Capitol Hill, after a report claimed powerful Democratic Rep. John Conyers settled a complaint with an ex-employee who said she was fired because she did not “succumb to [his] sexual advances.” Michigan Rep. Conyers, the longest-serving House member, reportedly settled the case in 2015 after allegedly making repeated sexual advances to female staff. Conyers who is 88, responded to the claim by saying, “I never sexually harassed the woman that I paid $27,000 to remain silent. The only thing I did, was regularly ask her to meet me at a hotel after work, and I respectfully requested for her to snuggle with me while fully clothed, which is not sex by any biological standard. And I decided to terminate her employment after she repeatedly gave me dirty looks every time I made the request, thus she was creating a hostile work environment.”
