BREAKING NEWS – Pawtucket, Rhode Island – “Monopoly for Millennials” — the recently released version of the classic board game — centers around the often-mocked generation of people born between 1981 and 1996. The cover features “Monopoly” icon Rich Uncle Pennybags with a cup of coffee, earbuds and a medal labeled “participation.” Other modifications include, instead of going to jail, players now have the option of going to a “safe space”, where they have time to “process their feelings”, while other players hand the emotional player Kleenex to dab their tears. Also, when passing “Go”, players can choose between collecting $200, a reduction in their student loans, or remain unemployed and live with their parents until the bank takes the home after a reverse mortgage.
