BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Media members and Democrats were quick to rebuke Republicans who praised the legacy of civil rights icon Martin Luther King, Jr.
Defeated Iowa Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Theresa Greenfield mocked her 2020 opponent, Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, for sharing a tribute to King on Twitter.
“Why is Senator Ernst acknowledging a black man?” tweeted Greenfield. “Even though the democrats initially created the KKK, my party now respects blacks and their reckless blind loyalty. And we know they’ll always vote for us, no matter how much we ignore them until an election is approaching.”
