BREAKING NEWS – Chicago, Illinois – The Chicago Teachers Union is pushing for its members to be vaccinated before being required to return to classrooms, one of the key sticking points in its ongoing labor dispute with the city’s public schools over a planned Feb. 1 reopening date for K-8 students.
“We want and need our shots,” stated the Chicago Teachers Union. “And when we say ‘shots’, we are referring to vaccinations, not our young students reaching for their concealed weapons to retaliate against any members of the faculty for giving them a failing grade.”
