BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Modesto, California – Attorney Pat Harris, who is representing Scott Peterson — a California man convicted in 2004 of murdering his wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn son on Dec. 24, 2002 — claimed on Thursday that new evidence will exonerate his client.
Harris’ comments came after Peterson was resentenced to life in prison without parole after the Supreme Court overruled his death sentence in August 2020 amid allegations of juror misconduct.
“I have no doubt that there are plenty of Christians in this nation,” Harris explained. “So here’s my proof. I have on video tape in front of witnesses, where Scott Peterson is swearing literally on a stack a bibles, compiled of at least 25 different versions. If that’s not proof enough in front of a God fearing jury, than I don’t know what is!”
