BREAKING NEWS – Dallas, Texas – The boss of Southwest Airlines has vowed he will “make good” to passengers hit by his company’s disastrous holiday meltdown as the carrier was delivering on its promise to resume better service.
“This has impacted so many people — so many customers — over the holidays,” CEO Bob Jordan said in an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
“I’m extremely sorry for that. There’s just no way to apologize enough. So, effective immediately, every passenger that was stranded at the airport, will be compensated the next time they fly with us, by getting an extra bag of snacks/trail mix for every day they had to stay at the airport. They will get an extra soft drink, and the third one will be discounted by a whopping 10%.”
