BREAKING NEWS – Culver City, California – “Jeopardy!” contestants made an error of biblical proportions. Fans were enraged after all three (millennial) contestants failed to answer what many believed to be a very easy question about the Lord’s Prayer.
Host Mayim Bialik read a clue that began, “Matthew 6:9 says, ‘Our Father, which art in heaven, [THIS] be thy name.’”
When the camera cut to Laura, Joe and returning champion Suresh, not one contestant buzzed in with a response.
However, this is not the biggest embarrassment of contestants in their age group regarding the bible. Last year the question was, “In the bible, how many testaments are there?” One person said “one”, another contestant said it was “sixty-six”, and the last one said it was “Twelve, which changed to eleven after Judas hung himself.”
