BREAKING NEWS – South Burlington, Vermont – Earlier this month, former Ben & Jerry’s customers are calling for a Bud Light-style boycott of the ice cream brand after it blasted the U.S. as existing “on stolen land.”

“This 4th of July, it’s high time we recognize that the US exists on stolen Indigenous land and commit to returning it,” Ben & Jerry’s wrote on its Twitter account.

“What if your headquarters or stores are on stolen property, would you move?” some asked in a tweet.

“We would supply all the Native Americans all of the ice cream they wanted at a discount,” Ben & Jerry’s. “And if they still demand that we move, we’d stay and insist that they stop focusing on the past because it’s counterproductive.”
