U.S. & World History – The Grand Canyon has long been considered one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of the World”. New compelling information seems to prove that the Grand Canyon was not created by nature, but it was man made. Historians and archaeologists have agreed on the validity of a newspaper article from 1875, and an actual blueprint from that same year.
Apparently, several Native American tribes saw a money-making opportunity, and agreed to set aside their differences to jointly dig the hole that is now the Grand Canyon, to make it a gigantic community swimming pool. However, the project was never complete, when the U.S. Army carried out their threat to forcibly put all of the tribes on reservations, after they refused to give children with military fathers, free passes during the summer months when school was out.
