BREAKING NEWS – Sydney, Austalia – An investigation has concluded regarding an AirAsia X flight from Sydney, Australia bound for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia that ended up in Melbourne, Australia. On March 10, 2015, flight 223 to Kuala Lumpur had to be guided to Melbourne to land after the captain inadvertently entered the wrong data in the flight computer. The unnamed captain and crew had a similar error in the United States in February of this year, when they were supposed to fly from Pittsburgh to Maine, and wound up in San Diego. He explained to the FAA that the passengers wanted to be near an ocean beach, “thus their geographical complaints generally speaking, were basically without merit.”
