BREAKING NEWS – Buenos Aires, Argentina – A physics teacher at a Buenos Aires high school said she received death threats, including a letter with a 9 mm bullet, warning her to give the entire class a passing grade. “The exam has to be extremely easy. When the students copy [from one another], I need you to look the other way and distract the rest of the teachers,” read the menacing letter, addressed to 50-year-old teacher María Marta Adam. The ACLU condoned the threat, and added, “Hopefully, this sort of thing will begin happening in America. Grading students which makes comparisons, could hurt the self-esteem of a child that’s not too intelligent. If Ms. Adam was fair and reasonable, she would level the playing field and stop bullying students into doing homework and turning in assignments.”
