Dear Blake,
I have been married for 46 years, and one of my favorite passions is sewing. However, my husband has criticized everything that I’ve ever sewn, which on occasion has even reduced me to tears. What should I do?

Dear Candi,
Here’s what you do. Tell him that you have created something very special for him, and if he doesn’t like it you’ll never sew again. Also tell him he has to close his eyes and you’ll help him put it on. While his eyes are still closed, lead him to the front door, push him out, lock the door, and then call the police. When the police arrive and see him wearing an orange jumpsuit, they’ll take him “back” to prison, once you tell them that you were on the jury that found him guilty of long list of violent crimes. After a few years behind bars wearing the same thing, I assure he’ll be begging to wear some of your creations. And finally, when you go visit him, have him sign a contract that states upon his release he’ll never be critical of anything you sew. If he refuses to sign it, testify against him at his parole hearing. I hope this helps.
Blake
