BREAKING NEWS – Springfield, Massachusetts – In preparation for the 2017 version of the dictionary, Merriam-Webster announced that they are now modifying and adding more definitions to the word “reverend”. In the south they will be defined as a “preacher” or “minister”. In the west they will be referred to as a “pastor”. Prompted by the personalities of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, in the Midwest and east, reverends will now be categorized as a “race hustler” or “con man”.
