BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Selfie obsessions are leading to increased demand for ‘liquid nose jobs’. More millennial women are opting for temporary nose jobs that require no surgery. The treatment works by injecting small amounts of hyaluronic acid just below the skin on the bridge of the nose, and
that might be able to help straighten out a bump on nose, camouflage asymmetry or rectify a botched rhinoplasty. “The fillers create a pyramid effect so that when light hits the nose, it appears more contoured, less flat and thus less wide,” says Dr. Melissa Doft, who practices on the Upper East Side and treated Mercer. “The only downside is, it will eventually dissolve the nose, until it falls off. At that point when someone gets a cold and blows their nose, some brain matter may be discharged. But that shouldn’t be an issue, because people opting for this type of surgery, obviously don’t use their brain to any degree of regularity.”
