BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Director Spike Lee announced he will host a rally supporting unsigned quarterback Colin Kaepernick at the National Football League’s New York headquarters on August 23rd. Since Kaepernick’s controversial protest, the athlete was repeatedly passed over for quarterback positions on other teams, most recently by the Miami Dolphins who lost their starter last week. Congresswoman Maxine Waters who backs Kaepernick, promised to also be at the protest. She then commented on the NFL owners. “Who are they to determine who is and isn’t a good quarterback? They are business owners, not God,” said Waters. “What Colin should do is get an attorney, and have a judge order the team of his choice to hire him, plus give him back pay, and an impressive signing bonus!”
