A friend of mine was telling me about the ending of the hit movie “Titanic”, because people are wondering if Jack could have fit on the floating door with Rose and survived, instead of sinking down to an icy grave. He told me he believes that Jack avoided getting on the door, because if they were rescued, it would appear that both of them were attempting a “breaking and entering” since neither of them had a key. So he concluded that he chose to freeze to death while drowning, rather than possibly getting arrested and thrown into jail. BTW, my friend is a criminal defense attorney… with some serious mental health issues.
