BREAKING NEWS – Newport Beach, California – A California man who pleaded not guilty after being accused of waterboarding his wife earlier this year could face life in prison. Richard David Schlosser, 36, of Newport Beach, was hit with a slew of charges in January, including torture, and criminal threats, after allegedly attacking his 65-year-old wife, the Los Angeles Times reported. Schlosser’s attorney said he was not waterboarding her. But instead, he was simply giving her something to drink, because she was dying of thirst after he denied her food for three days, which was punishment for her picking the locks of her leg irons.
