Dear Blake,

My boyfriend broke up with me. After a few weeks, I was OK with it. Then he wanted to visit me, but I was busy that day and, truth be told, I didn’t want to see him. I was going to hang out with a guy friend when my ex showed up although I had told him not to. When I went out with my friend, my ex couldn’t go in my house because I didn’t want him there if I wasn’t there. When I returned home, my ex was mad that we went out to eat and didn’t get him anything. Was I supposed to buy him food if I didn’t even want him there to begin with? This happened months ago and I’m still furious.

Dear Eyvette,

This is weird to me, because he broke up with you. The severity in which you respond, should be proportioned of how much he hurt you… times 100. Here are some ideas. Tell him you’re still emotionally unstable after the break up, and to heal, your therapist ordered you to stay away from him for the next couple of decades. Or, tell him you now have a jealous boyfriend, that the police want to talk regarding several unsolved brutal murders. Or this idea. Tell him you plan on having lunch very soon with your guy friend, and if your ex wants you to bring him back something, tell him to give you the money now. And lastly, this idea. Tell your ex, that you’ll take him back, but only under one condition… that it’s a long distance relationship… and you’re giving him 24 hours to leave the solar system. I hope this helps.

Blake
