Dear Blake,
I am a friendly person who can get along with most everyone. I am petite in height — 4-foot-8, to be exact. Recently, while my husband and I were at a social gathering, one of the male guests approached me and commented, “Who let a child in here?” I was not only hurt, but also offended at his rudeness. My husband is much taller than I am, and he has never mistaken me for a child. I’m tired of being judged for my height. Any thoughts?
Signed, Debbie

Dear Debbie,
As you get older, you might be flattered that you are mistaken for a much younger person. In the meantime you should counterpunch anyone who treats like you the runt of a litter. Here are some ideas of what you should’ve done when you were insulted at the gathering. When he finally realized how old you are, you should’ve flirted with him. And if he flirted back, accuse him of being a manipulative pedophile. Or, at the function, you should’ve kicked him in the shins and said that he mistook you for a child and wanted to show you some “naughty pictures” on his cell phone of girls your age. Or this suggestion. Find out where he works, go there and allege in front of all of his co-workers that you are his daughter that he sold when you were a few months old, so he could use the money to upgrade his crystal meth lab. And finally, this idea. Tell the people who heard his offensive comment, that you didn’t take it personally, because he is a registered sex offender, and you don’t want to be too critical of him because at least he is going to some court ordered classes, and is regularly taking his medication to suppress his vile predatorial urges. I hope this helps.
