Dear Blake,
I am a straight “A” medical student about to head back to college to start my third year. My parents are constantly bragging to their friends about me becoming a doctor. Over the summer I have decided to change my major to history, because I want to become a tour guide. I live in the city of Brotherly Love, and I want to talk to visitors all day regarding this country’s origin and the contributions of my hometown. Any thoughts on my career move?
Signed, Debbie

Dear Debbie,
Changing your mind in college regarding your future is quite common. And your two years of training in medicine will probably benefit you, after your parents realized they squandered their hard earned money on your education, as they jointly attempt to crush your windpipe. If Benjamin Franklin were alive today, he’d backhand you into next week! Why would you want a minimum wage job that you espouse boring facts to people that can get the same info on Wikipedia? I think your parents should sue you, and then cut you out of their will. However, if your career choice is that important to you, pursue it diligently. But so your parents won’t feel embarrassed as you point to statutes from a tour bus, tell them to tell their friends that you died an agonizing death as you were slowly being consumed by a flesh eating disease that you were trying to cure. This would make you look heroic, instead of moronic. I hope this helps.
