BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – The FAA which began allowing small knives to be carried on commercial flights in March, are now allowing machetes. Michael Huerta who runs the agency, stated the passengers safety will not be compromised. He explained that no one with a machete will be allowed to board a plane if the machete is not in a sheath, or if the owner has ever been involved directly or indirectly in a beheading.
