BREAKING NEWS – Virginia Beach, Virginia – The U.S. Navy has called on the help of students in its quest to develop “RoboBoats,” – naval vessels that can operate without a crew of sailors. Since 2007, students from around the world have taken part in a major competition to help the Navy develop unmanned naval vessels sponsored by The Office of Naval Research and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Foundation. Potential uses of robotic boats include, minesweeping, submarine detection, and sinking any stranded Carnival Cruise ships that’s been docked, after verification that it was direct cause of passengers enduring another vacation from hell.
