The person played the Associated Press a 12-second voice mail from an NFL office number on April 9 confirming the video arrived. A female voice expresses thanks and says: “You’re right. It’s terrible.” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell now acknowledges that the NFL received the video in April, but he maintains that he did not watch it until this week, because he was waiting for technicians to convert it to HD and put it in surround sound.
