Ilana Scheinker, who is eight-months pregnant, was driving with her husband when the urge to go suddenly hit. When 12 news reached out to Starbucks for comment and received this response: “During a woman’s final trimester while she’s pregnant, we don’t want them in our store. Because at this time period her sense of awareness is heightened, and that increases the likelihood that one of the baristas will get hot coffee poured in their face by a woman upset over our outrageous prices.”
