BREAKING NEWS – Dearborn, Michigan – Ford has announces that later this year they will be building a limited run of 2015 model year Shelby GT350 Mustangs. They will be manufactured to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original Shelby GT350 launched back in 1965. Just 137 examples bearing a 2015 VIN will be built before production switches over to 2016 models. Based on the the daily inquiries, Ford Performance marketing manager Henry Ford III said in a statement that, “The people who are doing the most salivating in regards to the release of the vehicle are collectors, celebrities, and carjackers.”
