BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – CNN’s Fredericka Whitfield claimed that she merely “misspoke” when she called the gunman in the Dallas Police Department attack “very courageous and brave,” but fell short of actually apologizing for her controversial comments. She later stated that the man should have “adequate back up to get the job done and should have planned his attack more carefully with a team”. Whitfield later said she was “too emotional” regarding the incident, because she was still angry at a policeman for giving her a ticket for parking in front of a fire hydrant earlier in the week, while she was a few blocks away, asking people on the streets if they felt cops were lazy and not doing their jobs.
