BREAKING NEWS – Chicago, Illinois – Chicago Public Schools managed to make a required $634 million payout to its teacher pension fund hours before the midnight Tuesday deadline, but Mayor Rahm Emanuel said Wednesday it would bring on cuts that were “intolerable, unacceptable and totally unconscionable.” He said the only other option under consideration is to get revenue through taxes, by granting the most profitable street gangs that sells drugs and conducts murder for hire, business licences.
