BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – After spending hundreds of millions of dollars creating tiny drones, the Pentagon is now considering scrapping the idea that was to be used by US Army Special Forces. Arne Skjaerpe, CEO of unmanned aircraft system manufacturer Prox Dynamics told Defense One that U.S. Army Special Forces will probably end up trashing the PD-100 Black Hornet devices. He said the Pentagon was very unimpressed that the enemy could easily destroy the expensive high tech drone with a 99¢ fly swatter.
