BREAKING NEWS – Santa Monica, California – California-based company has launched what it calls the first commercially available line of camel milk products, including raw and pasteurized camel milks and a raw camel milk at $18 a pint. They are touting the health benefits of camel milk, saying it provides “more absorbable calcium than available in other milks”, it “may enhance diabetic wound healing,” and it is “richer, more filling, more easily digested, and more satisfying than cow, goat or dairy milk.” The only issue they say they need to address is people that regularly drink camel’s milk in California, often find themselves for no apparent reason, walking while wandering aimlessly aimlessly in the Mojave Desert.
