BREAKING NEWS – Anaheim, California – The Walt Disney Co. recently bought three major plots of land near the popular Anaheim resort, reports the Los Angeles Times. The acquisition has sparked speculation of a park expansion that may include characters from the Disney owned Star Wars or Marvel super hero franchises. It has been several years since they acquired the two iconic brands, snapping up Marvel Entertainment Inc. in 2009 and Lucasfilm in 2012. In a memo leaked to the media, CEO Robert Iger told shareholders that “our acquisition of more land has nothing to do with creating new attractions, but to deal with the herds of tourists in which we plan to start handling like cattle, that are stupid enough to continue to pay jacked up prices to a “mouse’ and rat infested theme park.”
