BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – President Obama is restoring the name of the tallest North American mountain peak — Mt. McKinley in Alaska — to the native Alaskan name of “Denali”. Denali also is an Athabascan word meaning “the high one” and is widely used across the state today, according to the White House. He also plans on renaming Lake Michigan which is in his hometown Chicago, to honor the Native Americans that lived near it in the 1800’s with the dominant tribes at that time being the Potawatomie, Ojibwa and Odawa. His issue is, the descendants that are living today call it “The pond full of unidentified bodies”.
