BREAKING NEWS – Sacramento, California – Gov. Jerry Brown signs legislation allowing physician-assisted suicide that will go into effect next year. He explained that even though his state is the fifth one, after Oregon, Washington, Montana and Vermont, to enact the new law, California’s motives are somewhat different from theirs. “This will no doubt benefit the terminally ill”, said Brown. “But this also helps control our unsustainable population growth. I am currently considering not only extending this option to people that have major health issues, I plan on introducing an amendment that will include Lakers fans that are understandably battling with depression.”
