The Titanic, which struck an iceberg at 11.40 p.m. ship’s time on April 14, sank just over two hours later with the loss of more than 1,500 lives. U.K. Henry Aldridge & Son also expects to get at least $2 million for a close up of the iceberg moments after it was hit by the Titanic, which shows hundreds of seals laughing hysterically at the stupidity of Captain Smith.
