BREAKING NEWS – Lincoln, Nebraska – A woman suffers severe hand injury after breaking into a zoo and trying to pet a tiger. Police told the Omaha World-Herald, 33-year-old Jacqueline Eide was being treated at Creighton University Medical Center for a bite on her left hand. Authorities said Eide was acting aggressively toward hospital staff and showed signs of intoxication. Omaha Police spokesman James Shade said zoo officials were reviewing security video to determine how Eide got inside the gates. Eide has now retained an attorney that he plans on suing Omaha Zoo. He explained his position at a press conference stating in part, “The officials at the zoo put all of their time and money into keeping animals in the facility, without giving any consideration on how to keep idiots like my client out, thus they should be held accountable!”
